Hello, this is Sibi.

In 2020, I started ‘zigarthanda’ as a tiny corner in Instagram to appreciate the films I watched and grew up with.

It’s 2026, and it’s time for ‘under the fan’, the newsletter from the House of Zigarthanda. A space I’ve longed to create. A space similar to the verandahs of the tropical South Asian homes, the kinda space I grew up in my grandmother’s ancestral home. I’m looking forward to build a community where reading is appreciated and we can discuss topics ranging across memories, nostalgia, living and so on.
